I served from 1969 to 1976 as a Marine and one year in Vietnam. I need a vehicle because my old Chevy Blazer quit on me (again) and the cost of the repair's are over three thousand dollars (the transmision and brakes this time) and that won't even cover getting the intake manifold leak fixed.

I Have a short story submitted by the Missouri Veterans Commission in Jefferson City. Chris was in the Army for 5 years with the 101st deployed to Iraq twice, onnce in 2003 and in 2006. He has injuries sustained during those deployments. A IED went off and he was blown over the roof of a vehicle and landed on a 2 story building. He suffers from a knee injury, tramatic brain injury and ptsd. The Va has suggested he apply for full disability but he is proud and said he would feel worthless if he didn’t support himself.

Making Ends Meet
Michael is disabled and his very dedicated wife Rebecca works a full time job and is currently attending college to be a Registered Nurse. They have a 3 year old son named Tyler. At this point they are at wits end. They have been barely making ends meet and a unavoidable accident occurred when a deer was on the interstate and they hit it at 75 MPH it totaled their only car. They are all safe but now have no transportation. This family is wonderful always helping others when they can and putting others first but they now need some help of their own.
